While the Dodge Magnum may no longer be in production, the style of wheels that came to be known as Magnum wheels are still a very popular option. They work well for many of the Chrysler, Dodge and GM cars that have that look of the old style muscle cars combined with the new styles of sedans to the sleek style of sporty station wagons.
The Classic Look
If you are looking for that type of the typical OEM wheels that were found on almost all of the styles of vehicles that had the Magnum name, look to the tradition five spoke types of wheel. These Magnum wheels tended to be chrome or a polished chrome look with a wider spoke that matched the heavier bodied look of these cars.
Today, there are still those basic styles of Magnum wheels from a wide range of different companies. They have the classic look of the muscle car, sports car and sedan type of look, but they also have a more modern twist in their finish and extra attention to details.
A Different Look
There is no need to stay with the OEM style of Magnum wheels. Chargers and Challengers, as well as the Magnum line, all look terrific with a variety of different spoke and wheel options.
For a more upgraded or updated look, consider moving to a wheel style with a lot more spokes. This gives a lot more flash when the vehicle is in motion, but it also makes the vehicle look terrific when parked. By upgrading to more spokes as part of the design, the wheel can look racy, classic or even very much like a luxury or custom wheel, just without the custom wheel price.
Colors and Finishes
To stay with the classic feel to Magnum wheels, most vehicle owners will choose the chrome or the black wheels, or a combination of the two. Both are a great option for the vehicle and work with any paint color. These also come in a variety of sizes in the various styles and colors, but they tend to focus on the 22 and 24-inch sizes.
Concave wheels are well worth considering in Magnum wheels, as they add a depth to the look for the wheels that embodies that muscle car look of the original Magnum, Charger and Challenger lines that is so much a part of the American muscle car appeal.
