One of the challenges coaches face in working with soccer players of any age is finding the space and the location to practice. While some drills and exercises can be done anywhere, for specific strategies and skills practice, having the field marked off will be essential for positioning and understanding positioning.

Portable, simple to use and long-lasting, soccer field markers are the ideal options for any type of practice field. These plastic marking systems can be designed to work on outdoor grass surfaces as well as to double up for indoor gym use. This makes them ideal for year-round practice, plus they can double for a range of other types of uses as well.

Options to Consider

With any soccer field markers, versatility for the coaching staff will be important to consider. The two most common options are the more traditional types of field markers that have the corners and the line strips and the plastic discs, which are sometimes called dot markers.

Both of these options allow the coach to set up smaller or larger areas for drills or to create a larger playing area. They are durable, strong and can stand up to being stepped on or run over.

Color Considerations

For more complex types of drills and pattern work, multiple colors of the dot markers are very convenient to have. This allows the coach to setup up specific drills or areas within the practice and have them individually marked with different colors for easy identification of the different drills and areas.

Having multiple sets and options in both the marker dots as well as the traditional corner and line soccer field markers provides greater flexibility in creating playing and practice areas in any location, both indoors and out. Be sure to select markers with the back side of the plastic designed with extra grip for use on smooth indoor surfaces.
